my approach
Yoga therapy takes what we already know about yoga and goes deeper. My goal is to educate you on various pathways to empower yourself and to improve your health and well-being.
what to expect
After 1 session: Unpack and assess the current state of your body and mind. Are they working in unison? We’ll set short-term and long-term goals and you'll leave with tools you can put into action right away.
After 3 sessions: Gain deeper insight in your patterns - both those that serve you and those that do not. Begin having honest conversations with yourself about what you really want for yourself, from the inside out.
After 7 sessions: Emerge feeling empowered, and reclaim your agency. Having prioritized your holistic, physical and mental health, and having gained a truer understanding of your inner workings, you can confidently move in the direction you choose and identify and remove blocks as they arise.

Together we'll identify any physical, emotional, and mental imbalances you are experiencing then introduce techniques to bring those into balance. These techniques include yoga poses, breathing, and meditation to name a few.

referring out
Most clients are referred by physicians, physical therapists, or seek out my services on their own. If for any reason I believe another health care professional can better serve you or work in partnership with us I will make an appropriate referral. If you present with a situation I am not qualified or able to address I will make a referral to another yoga therapist with the appropriate expertise to serve your needs.
scope of practice
As a yoga therapist, my job is to provide a healing space to evaluate what and where you want to focus your attention. Our work together is based on research and requires an openness to healing. I will not provide a diagnosis and will not discuss topics unrelated to assessments outlined above.
Your job is to show up mentally and physically, honor your appointments, and to allow this process to organically unfold as we work together.
