A lifelong learner and self-proclaimed "anatomy nerd", I work to create a judgment-free space to safely guide experimentation with shapes, intention, and strength.

I approach this practice with a laid back and positive vibe to make our time together energetically balancing, educational, and accessible. I will always remind you to make space for breath and guide your practice with curiosity. I've used this practice to heal myself physically and mentally which has driven my deep desire to share it.

Since completing my 200 hour in Power Vinyasa Yoga with Mimi Rieger, I've also studied Rocket Yoga, Pilates Mat 1, and completed anatomy trainings with Dr. Ariele Foster and Tiffany Cruishank . I've taught over 2000 hours and completed my Masters of Science degree in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, MD.

yoga therapist

Yoga therapy takes what we already know about yoga and goes deeper. As a yoga therapist my goal is to educate you on various pathways to empower yourself and to improve your health and well-being. Together we'll identify any physical, emotional, and mental imbalances you are experiencing then introduce techniques to bring those into balance. These techniques include yoga poses (we'll start simple), breathing (playing with what you already do), and meditation (the little voice in your head) to name a few.
This transformative and healing process is available to everyone regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, gender, or size. I often fuse this practice with other modalities and apply them to your specific needs with a focus on functional movement and healing from the outside in.
